For the first time since they pulled out of the British royal family, Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan have appeared together in public in Europe. The duo attended a reception hosted by the city and the Dutch Ministry of Defense before the start of the Invictus Games in The Hague last night. Harry appeared beaming in a black suit and Meghan in a white jumpsuit for the cameras.
The Paralympic competition for disabled veterans was scheduled to begin today with the pair’s presence, after two postponements due to the pandemic. The Invictus Games are Harry’s affair, which is very important to him even after his retirement from the British Crown. In the Netherlands, the two will closely accompany the filming crew for a Netflix documentary. The couple signed a multi-million dollar deal with the streaming service.
The two had previously stopped off without warning in their old homeland and had met Queen Elizabeth II, among others. It was the first time the couple had returned to the UK together since leaving the British Crown. According to dpa information, her two youngsters Archie and Lilipet shouldn’t be part of the party.
