Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce struggled in the team's loss to the Houston Texans, prompting Patrick Mahomes to make an interesting comment.
Travis Kelce couldn't get Patrick Mahomes to the final count on Sunday night.
Mahomes' pass was just behind Kelece, who attempted to make a play.The ball went to Kelest's finger and into the hand of Texans Latebacker Azeez al-Shayar.The Death Star was broken.

It was a rough night for Kelce as he had just one catch for eight yards on five targets.Mahomes made a curious comment about Kelce's future as the Chiefs fell to 6-7 on the year and are now a long way from missing the playoffs.
"Every season I've had with them over the last few years, I've tried to cherish it because you never know," Mahomes told reporters after the game."He's been in really good shape this year and has played great football. After this season he'll have the option to do what he wants to do."

"But I know one thing, he is going to give everything he has for the rest of the season to try to give us the opportunity to make the playoffs. We know that the chances are getting worse and lower, but I know the guys in this team are going to give everything they have every chance they get."
Kelce is having a great season at the age of 36. He has 60 receptions for 727 yards and five touchdowns.Kelce's touchdown total is the same number as his 2024 season total and his 2023 season total.
