Keith Olbermann Criticizes Cristiano Ronaldo After White House With Trump

Keith Olbermann called Cristiano Ronaldo "Fascist Scum" after he visited the White House for a dinner honoring the Saudi prince.

Cristiano Ronaldo's visit to the White House this week has transformed former Forted Ponynd Liss in political commentator.

Keith Olbermann, a vocal critic of President Donald Trump and other Republicans, took to X early Wednesday morning to heap insults on the football legend.

"Walking around with fascist scumbags made you an interesting person," Olbermann wrote, sharing a selfie of Ronaldo with Elon Musk, Gianni Infantino, Georgina Rodriguez and others.

Ronaldo, who plays for Al Nasr in the Saudi Professional League, was attending a White House dinner for the Saudi crown prince. It was the first time in nearly 10 years that Ronaldo visited the United States. His current two-year contract is worth about $400 million.

"And Barron came to see him, and I think he respects his father a little bit more now that I've introduced you. Thank you for coming, it's an honor," Trump told the crowd, which included Tesla CEO Elon Musk and Apple CEO Tim Cook.

Ronaldo has also shared how he thinks about Trump, saying in an interview with Morgan's speeches that "One of the people who can help the world."

With Portugal qualifying for the 2026 World Cup, Ronaldo will participate in his sixth tournament in North America next summer.He and Argentina's Lionel Messi will make history as they are the only players to have appeared in six men's World Cups.

Ronaldo has hinted that this could be his final appearance for Portugal on the World Cup stage, after the team's defeat to Morocco at the previous World Cup made him questionable if he played at another tournament.

Trump has also been involved in sports, his FIFA team is preparing for next year's tournament which will be played in the USA, Canada and Mexico.

The World Cup will begin on June 11, 2026 and end on July 19, 2026 at Metlife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
