In the Holland According to media reports, a wolf stalked a racing cyclist in a national park. The cyclist filmed the wolf emerging from the woods, and ran after him on a bike path for a while, according to “Omrop Gelderland” announcer.

Video recordings of the scene, which is said to have taken place in De Hoge Veluwe National Park north of Arnhem near Otterlo, have been circulating on social media. The wolves settled there again for a while. An expert from the wolf registry office in the Netherlands confirmed on the basis of the film’s sequence that it was in fact a wolf.

Wolves had previously appeared in the national park, which behaved nicely and sometimes approached park visitors a few meters away. At first the cyclist did not comment on confronting the wolf. As reported by the radio, the clip of the bike path that can be seen in the video, in which the wolf appeared, is clearly in the national park.
