Some time ago, Ubisoft announced another release for this week Future events from Ubisoft at. An upcoming game from the company that won’t appear during the show is the PS2 remake of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time.
Prince of Persia Edition: Unexpected release until 2022
This was confirmed by the responsible developers in a current message at Official Twitter account from the game. In it, the manufacturers first note the upcoming Ubisoft Forward and thank fans for their continued support.
Officials then confirm that “Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Edition” will not be represented at the event. The team will be making “significant progress” with work on the game coming out “next year,” but they are not yet ready to reveal any new details about the title. This should only happen when content creators are able to do so.
Finally, the developers would like to once again thank fans for their “continuous support and patience with us on our journey”. The team is excited to be able to reveal more about the game once the time is right.
In May 2021, Ubisoft confirmed that “Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Edition” should remain in the context of the current fiscal year, i.e. Before April 2022, to publish. The remake of the classic action-adventure game is being created in Ubisoft Mumbai, and is originally supposed to hit stores in early 2021. Ultimately, Ubisoft decided to give the title more time and postpone it indefinitely.
