Tom Morello mocks Kid Rocks Turning Point USA

Tom Morello mocked Kid Rock's US Turnaround halftime performance after a video of him singing to a crowd went viral.

Tom Morello is very direct when it comes to politics, but after watching a video of Kid Rock playing for a small crowd on stage in USA, the Rage Against The Machine rocker developed a rare satire.

On Wednesday (February 11), Morello also released a video on hip-hop/country star X on the set of a different band for Bad Bunny's Super Bowl halftime show, with TPUSA calling his show the "All-American Halftime Show."Kid Rock is one of the leaders, and in the video, he rapped in front of the underdogs. At one point, he ordered them to raise their hands to beat the song, but no one followed.

“America is finally great again,” Morello wrote somberly, putting a spin on President Donald Trump’s iconic slogan “Make America Great Again.”"THANKS."

Representatives for Kid Rock and Turning Point have been contacted for comment.

It's unclear whether the video circulating on social media was actually filmed during the recording of Turning Point, which featured performances by Brantley Gilbert, Lee Brice and Gabby Barrett, or a rehearsal the day before Morello's stinging post.Kid Rock confirmed that the show was pre-recorded rather than broadcast live. He also denied rumors that he lip-synced while on stage.

"If I was ever going to lip-sync, I wouldn't do it, ['Bawitdaba'] would be the last song I would do... I would do it," he said in a video posted on social media, at one point deflecting some "hate and trolling.""The problem is people are amplifying it on the internet ... they do it too much, especially in the fake media, the left, the crazy libt-ds."

Besides trolling Kid Rock on X, Morello made his support known for Bad Bunny's historic halftime performance by retweeting a number of posts basically criticizing Benito and Turning Point. One of them highlighted Zach Bryan's recent Instagram post rocking the alternate halftime, in which the country singer wrote, "I don't care what side you're on, a bunch of old people throwing tantrums and their own halftime show is embarrassing as hell and the most gruesome on the planet."

Morello also attended the Super Bowl at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California on Sunday, February 8, and used it as an opportunity to display an "ICE Out" banner to protest immigration enforcement operations taking place in the United States, as he shared on Instagram. In response to ICE agents shooting two civilians in Minneapolis in January, he traveled to the city and organized a benefit concert to show solidarity with the community.
