Survivor 50 Episode 6 Recap: Who Was Chosen?

Alright, everyone! It's time to merge!Let's go!

I'm so ready for episode 6 of Survivor 50 tonight, and not just because Jeff Probst and CBS are promoting it as a history-making episode that will "change the game forever."We knew this was going to be a season like no other, and something big was going to happen tonight with the 17 casts uniting.

And after last week's double elimination, there's no doubt that something unforgettable awaits us tonight. So far, every episode of Survivor 50 has outdone the last, so if we only send two people home, I'm down to see if the combined tribe should vote for three people. It looks good based on the teaser the show released a few days ago.

But since some of our players are in the game for profit (and loss), every game can be won or lost.

Leave your favorites...

Rizo Velovic is on cloud nine after successfully helping eliminate his biggest rival on Chila Beach. But Dee Valladares does damage control, telling Jonathan Young that they can't vote him out in case he tells Charlie Davis the plan, but they all want to work with him anyway. As the two talk on the beach, Jonathan notices an approaching ship in the distance.

The people living on the coast of Kalo also have a ship nearby, both of which provide a mail tree that instructs them to leave their buffs, gather their things, and sail to their new home on the ship.Dee sees this as his opportunity to play even more strongly.

Vato receives treemail informing him that the remaining players are on their way to join him at the new Fusion Beach.Ozzy Lust pulls Emily Flippan aside and tells her the full truth about his game before the rest of the players arrive. He talks about his idols to build trust with her and Christian Hobitsky. He also reveals his idols. When Cilla and Kalo arrive by boat, the three are ready to move forward together.

Christian is excited to welcome everyone to camp, but most of all he is happy to be reunited with Rick Devens.Meanwhile, Rizo was surprised to arrive at the beach with many Survivor legends.Ozzy gave everyone a yellow fan as they went around the camp to start the fusion.

confusion in communication

Devens examines all the pros in the game he knows: the Christian idol sent to Aubry Bracco — who gets credit — and his false idol at Tribal Council.Genevieve Mushaluk asks Cirie Fields what she knows about Aubry, and Cirie confirms her idol.Soon, the entire united tribe knows that Devens sent an idol to Aubry and Genevieve sent an idol to Ozzy.

When Rizo asks Geneviève if he sent her the idol, she denies it, wanting to be sure that if she votes out, no one will know that it will be returned to her.Cirie tells Ozzy about Rizo's idol too.She understands that the new way of playing is that it's okay to vote with your enemy for a vote or two, but in the old school days, it was about trust and being loyal to your people.

These two mindsets are already at odds as Jonathan runs around trying to see who he can trust.Coach Wade is incredibly obsessed with Jonathan's body - he says he wanted it that way in his first season - and many other old-school players and Joe Hunter are willing to work with him, knowing he has played 42 faithful matches on Survivor 42.

The first round of the show has been revealed

another ship came with a note that said there was a bullet hidden in the forest and the first to find it, claimed the property. All 17 players immediately start running through the forest to find the prize.Ozzy finds a note that says he's going to Exile Island and he needs to pick the players to go with him.He tells Christian and Emily who guesses that this means he will be safe through the next vote.

Ozzy decides that the best player to take with him would be someone no one knows very well. So he takes the opportunity to learn all of his secrets and asks Rizzo to board the boat to exile with him.Rizzo is both excited and scared about what effect this could have on his game.

Additional challenges of immunity and confusion.

The remaining 15 players take to the field where the three original tribal colors challenge the Chimney Sweepers.Host Jeff Probst welcomes everyone and tells them that 63% of the fans voted for the big twists, making them the biggest twists ever in Survivor history.

More sports

He reveals that the final three players will be eliminated at Tribal Council, where they will be divided into three groups of five to compete. The three groups will go to tribal council to choose one.The last remaining player from each team will win immunity, while the last remaining player will win immunity for themselves and a prize for their team.the whole. The prize?Applebees in the Sanctuary.

Another big twist is revealed, the judging will begin after tonight's vote, meaning anyone eliminated tonight will not be on the judging panel.Jeff divides the players into three groups for the challenge.

Teal: Dee Valladares, Cirie Fields, Emily Flippen, Colby Donaldson, Trener Wade

Purple: Genevieve Mushaluk, Aubry Bracco, Christian Hubicki, Rick Devens, Joe Hunter

Laranxa: Jonathan Young, Stephenie LaGrossa Kendrick, Tiffany Ervin, Kamilla Karthgesu, Chrissy Hofbeck

Emily fell first, during the transition.Devens, Jonathan and Colby went down in the second transition.Cirie exited, leaving Coach vs. Dee for the teal team. Coach had previously lost this challenge to J.T.Thomas of Tocantins.Descending to the last hold, Coach fell and Dee won immunity, but fell down, giving away the prize.

Tiffany, Aubry, Joe, and Genevieve all retire at once, leaving Christian to win immunity, but he retires, meaning the orange team will win the reward.Kamilla retires, leaving the bottom two: Stephenie vs. Chrissy. Stephenie wins after Chrissy has to retire.

Winners: Dee Valladares, Christian Hubicki and Stephenie LaGrossa Kendrick receive immunity and the orange team also receives an award.

All three groups were released and returned to the three camps without further planning.

An island of exile for some, a sanctuary for others

Ozzy lives his best life on Exile Island and bonds with Rizo. Before leaving for Exile, Cirie told Ozzy to seal things with Rizo by sharing his knowledge of the idols.Instead, Rizo tells him about his own idol, gaining Ozzy's trust.Ozzy is convinced that he, Rizo and Cirie until it's over.

A group of oranges arrive at the sanctuary to be greeted with drinks and appetizers. They agree to stop the game while enjoying their food, but it's clear they're planning internally because the game hasn't stopped yet.Tiffany initially thinks everything is going to plan as she's with Jonathan and Camilla - which leads to Chrissy, who is now trying to work with her in 13 days.

Across the old black park

Christian, Aubrey, Genevieve, Devens, and Joe return to Kalo's old camp to strategize for last night's vote.

Aubry tells Christian and Devens that she plans to use her idol regardless of her vote.Genevieve, knowing that Aubry has an idol, wants her and Joe to vote on Devens with the intention of choosing Christian. She approaches Christian in a semi-threatening manner, telling him that everyone is targeting her because of her relationship with Devens.

Christian doesn't see this as a convincing argument to play with her, but as the final straw that breaks the camel's back: she's the most dangerous person on the beach. He tries his best to show her his openness but plans to remain loyal to Devens.Fearing that Genevieve may have an idol, Devens names Joe as his target for the evening.

I sean champa Sela

Colby, Dee, Cirie, Emily and Coach are at the camp and the three women plan to play together to eliminate Coach or Colby.Colby's injuries make him an easy target, and he also doesn't have a voice, meaning he can't play his shot in the dark.

The coach tells Dee that Emily should go because she threw out Dee's name, but Dee doesn't believe him at all.He approaches Emily about what Coach said and they both laugh.Emily then sat down at camp with Colby to expose Coach's outward lies, setting the fire for everyone. Both women agree that the coach is the better of the two targets.

Emily tells Ciri that they think Colby will likely be taken out of the game soon, so Coach is the best choice. But Ciri turns her sister around and tells her that Colby is the head of the snake, and Coach is the tail - he fits better with the rest.

Colby then tells Dee that if he saves him, he will bring her to his other friends' entourage and tell them that she saved him and that he will protect her going forward.

Triple Tribal Ried

The winning group is the first to reach Tribal Council, where Camilla explains that this vote is to determine who you want to move forward with in the game. She and Tiffany also point out that how they vote tonight could affect players who aren't even present right now, meaning they have to be careful who they return without.

The group at the old Kalu camp is the second group to experience tribal council.Genevieve explains that today's vote can be about luck and whether or not you drew the right colored stone. But Aubrey disagrees, saying that luck is built into the game and you have to have the right relationships to keep you going regardless of the color of the stone you draw.

The final group enters Tribal Council, and Jeff asks Colby and Coach when they were last at Tribal Council - Colby says it was 15 years, Coach says it was 13 or 14 years.Colby explains that he has a goal tonight – broadcasting that he doesn't have a vote, so he can't play his shot in the dark – but declares that this is the best time he's ever played. This leads to an emotional showdown where Jeff reflects on how the old players are paving the way for the new era.

Who was eliminated from Survivor 50 Episode 6?

In the end, for the winning set, Jonathan chose to go with the devil he didn't know and chose with Chrissy and Stephenie to free Kamilla, strengthening the partnership with two people who had little impact on the game until now.

Genevieve played her shot in the dark, removing her voice from the mix for a chance at safety. But he chose a bad roll and is still in danger. After this revelation, Aubrey chose not to play idol and Jeff read that Genevieve then went home.He then used the moment to give Aubrey his coat in a gesture of goodwill.

Dee, Emily, and Cirie finally come together to vote Colby out, knowing that his social influence on the game is far more powerful than any threat the coach makes.

More on Survivor…

As Ozzy and Rizo join our 12-man squad in camp, there will be plenty of questions. After Jonathan turns around, he'll have a lot of answers to answer, especially the team he targeted for their loyalty, now that the two joint reps are in Colby and Genevieve.Maybe he put a big anchor on his back.

While it probably won't be as crazy as the triple elimination, next week's episode is sure to bring some heated debates between our players.I can't wait to see what happens when Survivor 50 resumes on Wednesday, April 8 at 8:00 PM ET on CBS and Paramount+.
