Jack Osbourne and wife Ari Osbourne have announced the arrival of their daughter and shared her full name, a touching tribute to her late grandfather and metal legend Ozzy Osbourne.

In a joint Instagram post on Wednesday, the couple shared a black and white video of their daughter with a card noting that she was born on March 5, 2026 and weighed seven pounds and 12 ounces. In the caption, they wrote: "Introducing Ozzy Matilda Osbourne."

News of his birth came nearly eight months after the Black Sabbath frontman's death.Ozzy died on July 22, 2025, aged 76, of a heart attack and suffering from coronary heart disease and Parkinson's disease.A few weeks before his death, Ozzy was able to bid a bittersweet farewell to fans at his hometown Back to the Beginning concert with members of Black Sabbath at Villa Park in Birmingham.

Jack shared an Instagram tribute to his father last August. "He was so many things to so many people," Jack wrote, "but I'm blessed and lucky to be in a very small group that called him 'Dad.'" "My heart is filled with sadness and grief but also with so much love and gratitude. I had 14,501 days with that man and I know it was a blessing."

Kelly Osbourne, the daughter of a rock legend, also recorded their father's record and referred to the opening scene in "Change", a favorite released by Black Sabbath in 1972. "I'm sorry," she wrote on social media.

Ozzie Matilda is Jack and Ari's second child.Their first child, Maple Artemis Osborne, was born on July 9, 2022. Jack is also the father of three daughters, Pearl Clementine Osborne, 13, Andi Rose Osborne, 10, and Minnie Theodora Osborne, 7, with his ex-wife Lisa Staley.
