Green Mobility transition: ADLER Smart Solutions installs 100 additional fast charging solutions at Shell petrol stations

Hamburg (OTS)

ADLER Smart Solutions GmbH designs, develops and builds 100 additional fast charging solutions for the future of clean energy in the transportation sector on behalf of Shell Deutschland.

The signals are green. After 40 successful 175kW DC fast charging systems for electric vehicles in Hamburg, Berlin and Schleswig-Holstein in 2020/2021, Shell Germany has now started ADLER Smart Solutions again. The company, which specializes in sustainable energy and mobility solutions, will build another 100 express charging solutions at 50 locations across Germany.

The cooperation includes all necessary measures from the first planning step to successful operation: as part of the feasibility study, suitable sites are selected, the entire technical design is designed, the medium voltage network is connected with the provision of a coordinated transformer station, implementation and commissioning step by step.

Tobias Bansen, Shell Energy Transition Manager for the DACH region, sees the collaboration with ADLER as very positive: “We made a conscious decision to go for a flexible mid-size company, because we needed the combination of the highest possible flexibility and professionalism for successful implementation. Installing the first 20 sites with 40 shipping solutions we evaluated.

Tajo Adler, Founder and Managing Director of ADLER Smart Solutions, is looking forward to the new challenge: “At ADLER, under the leadership of Joscha Lauer, experts who are very passionate about the successful installation of express charging solutions at Shell fuel stations from Westerland to Mannheim are particularly pleased. Shell appreciates their commitment and great experience and we will now continue our positive collaboration with a good team spirit.”
