Period WP Curry (NASDAQOTH: NYC) is a truly remarkable dividend stock. Yes, maybe even a high-quality stock now comes with a low rating. After all, the dividend yield exceeds 5.6%, which can definitely generate high negative income.
WP Carey recently returned to recovery mode as a real estate investment fund with a diversified portfolio. Operationally, things went much smoother, and management was able to show funds from operations at $ 1.20 per share. With a distribution ratio of 87.3%, the starting position is definitely more sustainable.
However, in the future, moderate growth should also become important for real estate investment confidence. So let’s take a look at four new deals REIT has announced now. There’s no doubt about it: this can also lead to moderate growth. At least if they weren’t left alone.
WP Carey: 4 Smaller Deals & Strong Opportunities!
As we can see now by looking at the investor relations pages, there were four more deals in May. Why more deals? Quite simply: a few days ago, WP Carey managed to announce the acquisition of a production facility for $ 195 million USD. Now, as I said, more small deals will follow.
WP Carey acquired a total of $ 170 million in this acquisition round and invested, among other things, $ 65 million in a food production facility. And another $ 52 million to buy a technology research and development facility where research is being conducted on robots, among other things. Another US $ 27 million and US $ 26 million were allocated to another facility for manufacturing packaging materials and student housing properties.
This indicates, once again, that the US Real Estate Investment Fund invests in a diversified manner and in the many opportunities that arise. The total volume, which has already been piled up in acquisitions this year, has reached $ 765 million. This can be very important for further growth.
Mosaic particles for further growth
WP Carey relies on acquisitions to fuel its growth. The volume is not small, especially in the last few weeks and months, it appears that the US real estate investment fund has found suitable targets for its acquisitions.
With just over 1,200 different properties, the portfolio is very grateful for expansion. This could mean that WP Carey can achieve moderate and inorganic growth from these investments. These are also positive earnings signals. With the help of consistent and moderate growth, there should be little in the way of additional increases. Especially since the US Real Estate Investment Fund still has some transformation options that can also be bypassed.
