In the current episode of “Des König’s New Podcast” with Jürgen Drews and Felix Moese, loyal fans of the hit star had to hold their breath. When asked by a follower, Drews admitted: Professionally, he would like to take things easy in the future.
“Thank you very much for the many questions. In other words, it means: I’m still a bit interesting to some people,” says Jürgen Drews, Schlager icon, overwhelmed by the matter. On the new podcast episode from February 20, his fans were allowed to ask questions for a change.

The 76-year-old answered many questions from his supporters frankly and honestly.
One curious fan asked, “What’s the best experience you’ve had so far in your long and wonderful career?” Overwhelmed by the remarkably comprehensive question, Jürgen seemed to reflect on several moments of his career.
Finally, he was able to decide on a private performance: during a performance by the interpreter of “Ein Bett im Kornfeld”, his wire-haired gypsy dachshund suddenly stood on the edge of the stage and was lit by a spotlight. The eminent animal lover laughed: “Look at the gods.”
Suddenly the mood in the recording studio changed. One excitedly asked: “When are you back on stage, where can we see you live?” Schlager lover.
Drew’s honest answer: “Well, I’m not going to do as many gigs as I used to. I just used to have a daily rhythm that matches that of a layman—I don’t want to give up on that either.”
Does Jürgen Drews signal the end of his career, or is he just a little shorter? According to the father of the 26-year-old Julia, it remains to be seen how often he will appear. After so many years of amazing music history, the musician should get some rest. (jxr)
