Saturday, July 17, 9:30 a.m.: Countdown is running. Only about half an hour until Niantic has the GO for GO Fest 2021 in the German urban jungle. Are you well prepared? If not, grab our checklist and check if you’ve taken our top ten tips for a perfect start to Pokémon GO Fest. This is an excerpt:

Saturday, July 17, 7:37 a.m.: The first breaking news about GO Fest is here! Dresden’s major live event has been canceled due to storms. However, this does not mean that Dresden coaches cannot play at all. No other rewards will be activated on the site only. All regular GO Fest content is still available.
Saturday, July 17, 7:30 a.m.: The big Pokémon GO Fest starts today and the top trainers around the world have already started. Players from New Zealand and Australia were already busy, because the first part of Hyperbonus has already been activated. From July 23 to August 3 there will be an event revolving around the flow of time. In addition, Niantic unlocks the shiny figures of Koknodon and Schilterus.
Friday, July 16, 4:00 p.m.: Practical Tool – For anyone who really wants to dig into the latest information at the start of Pokémon GO Fest 2021, the avid fan already has the right tool ready. It is known that coaches from New Zealand will be the first to start the event due to the time difference, which gives them a decisive advantage: they get the most important information from the faster Niantic.

Friday, July 16, 12:00 p.m.: There are only 22 hours left, then the first day of the Big Pokémon GO Festival 2021 begins. Trainers: Trainers from New Zealand are allowed to start the event first, due to the time difference they play the event while in Germany in the middle of the night. So we already know before the start in Germany which Pokemon and bonuses will be at least partially available.

Friday, July 16, 11:00 a.m.: Pokémon GO Festival is just beginning and all the coaches are eagerly waiting for the big event. On Saturday and Sunday it’s all about little monsters and the mobile game Pokémon GO. The two days are completely different from each other. While catching Pokémon is important on day one, day two focuses on 37 legendary raid bosses.
In addition, all Trainers around the world must work on global and temporary challenges in order to unlock the Pokémon GO hyperbonus. Here something changes every hour and it is especially important to be up to date, because then you know exactly what tasks you have to solve. On the first day, there will be a special habitat featuring different Pokemon. The list of habitats can be found here:
- 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.: Jungle Hour with Sichlor, Griffel, and Froxy
- 11am-12pm: Desert Mountain Hour with Panzaeron, Schilterus, and Hippopotas
- 12pm-1pm: Seaside hour with Dratini, Wablu and Mamolida
- 1pm-2pm: Cave Hour with Kiesling, Galar-Flunschlik and Kapuno
- 2pm to 3pm: Jungle Hour with Sichlor, Griffel, and Froxy
- 3pm-4pm: Desert Mountain Hour with Panzaeron, Schilterus, and Hippopotas
- 4pm to 5pm: seashore hour with Dratini, Pablo and Mamoleda
- 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.: Cave Hour with Kiesling, Galar-Flunschlik, and Kapuno
