After only a few days of several hours of failures on Facebook, WhatsApp and Instagram, problems occurred again in the social networks. The Photos app in particular appears to have been affected.

On Friday evening, users of the “Allestören.de” online forum shared information about Instagram problems. The portal has received more than 20,000 crash reports, and shortly before 9pm the number reached its initial peak with 21,409 reported cases.

Other Facebook services are also affected to a lesser extent. More than 1,050 users reported the Facebook error and nearly 1,000 users said they had problems with the WhatsApp messenger service.
Facebook commented on the unrest via Twitter. The group said it would fix the problems as soon as possible and apologized to users. Facebook has not mentioned any more precise reasons for these problems.
