Meanwhile heavy rain has moved over Dortmund. The German Meteorological Agency has extended the severe weather warning until 11 p.m.

The Dortmund Fire Brigade Control Center has already reported 267 passengers (as of 10:10 p.m.) – within an hour.
However, so far, the control center said it was only about operations because there was water in the foundations or streets.

Meanwhile, heavy rain fell in the city of Dortmund. Current weather maps show that the center of the thunderstorm cell could move over Dortmund until 10.30pm.

The private meteorological service “Kachelmanwetter” had previously predicted on Twitter: “It will provide plenty of water, including floodwaters and full foundations.”

At 8.30pm on Tuesday (June 29), the German Meteorological Service (DWT) issued an official red level storm warning for Dortmund. Thundershowers from the south until 10 p.m.

DWT recommends: “Close all windows and doors! Safe items outside! In particular, keep away from buildings, trees, scaffolding and high voltage lines! If possible, avoid staying outside! ”
