Berlin Again many celebrities came to the “Ein Herz für Kinder” donation ceremony on Saturday evening. Among other things, EU Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, former boxing star Wladimir Klitschko and actress Uschi Glas walked the red carpet in Berlin before the show.
Some celebrities, such as musician Alvaro Soler, sang Christmas carols in the song “It’s Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas”.
Verona Booth, 53, told the “Built” team on the red carpet how emotional the evening was. “I have been here for over 25 years. It was always exciting, it was always emotional, ”the reviewer said. “I could not help but shed a tear in my eyes on an evening like this.”
More than 80 prominent guests at the show on Saturday evening wanted to make donation calls over the phone. Tennis player Alexander Sverev (24) and pianist Long Long were also in attendance.
The gala, which aired live on ZDF, was directed by Johannes P. Administered by Kerner. The “A Heart for Children” campaign, launched in the “Built” newspaper, has been around since 1978. Last year, the gala raised about 26 million euros.
