It was actually supposed to be Seat’s first electric car, but it’s now launched with its sportier sister brand, the Cobra. Because this should play a dominant role in the daily life of the brand in the future.

The 4.3-meter Born is based on the VW ID 3, which is already available, but will launch from the same line in Zwickau, Saxony, from September onwards. Although it retains the basic shape of ID.3, it looks noticeably more attractive. This is certainly due to the front bonnet and the 20-inch alloy wheels.

The Stromer SUV with a dynamic design will be available in two versions, with 150 hp (from 32,700 euros) and 204 hp (from 36,770 euros). Prices are reduced by the electronic mobility premium (9,570 euros). The torque of both types is 310 Nm, which indicates good tracking characteristics. The net capacity of the batteries is 45, 58 or 77 kWh. According to the WLTP measurement cycle, this should result in ranges of 340 to 420 kilometers maximum.
