Interior Secretary Gerhard Eck, Construction Minister Kerstin Schreier, Science Minister Bernd Chipler and Social Affairs Minister Carolina Tratner are said to be unstable candidates. Current CSU general secretary Markus Blume, president of the Women’s Association and former environment minister Ulrike Scharf, but Deggendorf district administrator Christian Bernreiter are new to the cabinet. Two as Home Secretary, for example as Home Minister Joachim Herman or as Minister of Buildings.
