In Los Angeles, homeless veterans have camped out for years in all weather conditions. Arnold Schwarzenegger is now giving men a special Christmas gift: Thanks to his donation, the veterans will get a new home with a bed, heating and electricity.

“Terminator” shows its generous side at Christmas time: Hollywood star Arnold Schwarzenegger allegedly donated 25 tiny homes, where homeless veterans can now find a new home. On Christmas Eve, share impressions of the early Christmas gift launch via social media.

“Today I celebrated an early birthday,” the 74-year-old began his video message, which he posted on Instagram and Twitter. Recordings show him greeting happy veterans and the tiny homes themselves.

It was “cool” to “spend time with our heroes and welcome them to their new homes”. Veterans, who previously camped in simple all-weather tents, now have a bed, heating and electricity. “This is the best Christmas present for me,” the Hollywood star confirmed while visiting the tiny homes.

“Have the strength to do something for someone else while on vacation”

Schwarzenegger also thanked supporters he worked with in the course of the campaign – a nonprofit organization and department that deals with Veterans Affairs. “We’ve proven that if we all work together, we can solve any problem,” concludes the action star.

According to local TV station FOX 11 Los Angeles, Schwarzenegger flipped nearly $250,000 to purchase 25 tiny homes. In a follow-up post on Twitter, he confirmed that Christmas was about giving something away.

He wrote in the SMS: “You all have the power to do something for someone else during the holidays. It doesn’t have to be anything big.” It is enough to “spend just a few minutes of your time helping someone else”.
