Minor distress in the hospital system: Dr. Philip Turk is no longer the Deputy General Director of the Kirchberg Hospital Network and the Zeta Hospital.
(BB) – Dr. Philippe Turk is no longer Deputy General Director of the “Hôpitaux Robert Schuman” hospital group, which includes the Kirchberg Hospital and the ZithaKlinik. The gastroenterologist resigned from his position last week, the Luxemburger Wert found out.
It was initially said that an “amicable” agreement had been reached. However, the hospital group did not want to comment when asked. His work as a specialist will be dr. Al-Turk is in the Zeita clinic in the capital. On Monday, the 61-year-old doctor could not be reached for an explanation.
Philippe Turk took over the management position in the hospital group in March 2014 when the François-Elisabeth Foundation (Kirchberg Hospital, Klinik Buhler, Clinique Saint Marie) and ZithaKlinik merged. He was previously the Director of ZithaKlinik. With the consolidation, private hospital providers wanted to strengthen their medical offering – also in connection with a new division of tasks in the National Hospital Plan.

Parliament confirmed the importance of ZithaKlinik in March 2015 and approved the modernization and expansion of the facility. The public sector contributes €55.5 million. During the discussion, the MPs confirmed that the site will be kept in the station area.
However, it is said that there were differences of opinion within the hospital group about the division of tasks in the different locations.
