New connected lamp to help dyslexic people

To help people with dyslexia, Lexilife has created a connected lamp that makes reading easier. Version 3.0 will be available over the next year, with the same goal: to help users regain self-confidence.

Lexilight 3.0 and its mobile app (iOS and Android) diffuses pulsed, modulated light thanks to LED’s that blur the mirror image seen by the majority of dyslexic people. By doing so, it facilitates reading for users who can gradually restore self-confidence and restore the pleasure of reading.

Turn off the mirror effect

The new version of this connected lamp is based on a more efficient algorithm, although it emits the same amount of light. The customization is more advanced: everyone with dyslexia is truly unique, so they should be able to adjust the pulse, modulation, and light intensity of Lexilight.

Settings can be made on the touch screen of the lamp, or in the application (connected to the device via Bluetooth). The Lexilight, adapted to the needs of children, young people and adults with dyslexia, is a Nomad: it includes a battery with an autonomy of 12 hours. Of course, it can be used anywhere, whether at home or in the office.

Lexilight will be available sometime next year. The current version is €457, with a 100-day trial. It was designed by Lexilife, a French company established in 2018 in 37 countries. This lamp was developed as a result of cooperation with more than one hundred health and education professionals.
