The FC Salzburg youth have once again qualified for the UEFA Youth League final in Neon. Coach Rene Aufhauser’s team is fighting for the title in the Junior Champions League again after trailing 3-1 in the quarterfinals against Paris Saint-Germain. You can win a thrilling match in 2017 and only lose in the semifinals in Switzerland in 2020.
In France, the guests were already trailing by eleven seconds with a goal scored by Edward Michud. But before the break Oumar Diakite (37 ‘) and Roko Simic (72’) changed the game and Luka Reischl finally scored the final score (92 ‘) after a PSG defensive error.
On April 22, Salzburg will face the winner of the match between Borussia Dortmund and Atletico Madrid. In the second semi-final, Juventus are still waiting for their next opponent after Turin beat Liverpool 2-0, especially in the 16th round between Dynamo Kiev and Sporting Lisbon due to the current situation in Ukraine.
