Engility wins joint enterprise logistics contract

Engility Holding Inc. has been awarded a prime position on the Joint Enterprise-Contracted Logistics and Services Support contract.

The contract includes multiple awards and has a value of up to $900 million. Engility will provide supply chain management, logistics and maintenance support for the Joint Program Executive Office for Chemcial and Biological Defense (JPEO-CBD).

“This win allows us to continue an important relationship with this customer, and it gives us the opportunity to provide sustainment and support to fielded CBRN systems across all of the military services,” Engility President and CEO Tony Smeraglinolo, said. “We have a great team and we look forward to helping JPEO-CBD achieve mission success.”

Engility has given support to JPEO-CBD for more than 10 years. It also plans to continue to support the services offered through the company.

The contract is streamlined, while also remaining flexible, and can give support to multiple types of task orders and pricing structures. The performance period for the contract is over a three-year period, and includes an additional three-year add-on option.
