B3 Solutions awarded five-year JPEO-CBD contract

B3 Solutions recently announced that it has been awarded a five-year contract from the U.S. Department of Defense Joint Program Executive Office for Chemical and Biological Defense.

The contract gives B3 a major role in support of JPEO-CBD Omnibus Program Engineering and Technical Support services. B3 is now tasked with the development and fielding of chemical and biological materiel over the next five years.

The Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract is one of 22 awarded in the Acquisition Domain of OPETS. All of the awardees are capable of receiving the full amount of their contract if all of the options are exercised.

"We look forward to providing the critical expertise required to help develop chemical and biological defense solutions," B3 Solutions CEO William Almas said. "Nothing is more important than keeping our armed forces and civilians out of harm's way."

B3 will compete with other companies for JPEO-CBD task orders for the acquisition, program and relations management of chemical and biological defenses. B3 will also participate in JPEO-CBD strategic planning, program analysis, life cycle management, international program analysis on foreign military sales, equipment expertise on the production and usage of CBD protective equipment, multimedia, graphics, technical writing support and administrative support.

"Our extensive involvement in wide-ranging projects in the acquisition, program management and logistics arenas will be directly relevant in ensuring the success of the JPEO-CBD's mission," B3 COO James H. Washington said. "This contract will help us to continue growing our already robust and diversified Acquisition Management practice."
