The new world of media experience has opened at the Augsburger Allgemeine on Maximilianstraße 3. Media can be experienced here with all the senses.
Last Friday, July 1, and Saturday, July 2, it’s finally time. The new customer center for Augsburger Allgemeine has opened. After only four months of construction, the commercial buildings of Maximilianstraße 3 can be presented to visitors with a delicate landing.
Modern meets nature, and this is the motto of the new building: straight lines, clear colors and special accents – the media world of experience impresses with its open space. Upon entering, one immediately notices the glossy petroleum-colored elements, which are optimally complemented by crisp white walls and natural wood paneling on the walls. Sustainable material hair can also be found again and again. A special feature is the birch trunks in the middle of the spacious room, which guarantees a cozy atmosphere. The lounge corner in the entrance area, which invites you to relax, also contributes to this.
“With our new headquarters, we have created a place that aims to inspire people to experience media with all their senses. The Store is a place to learn about our media company – and I would invite you all to do just that!” In the future, group discussions, discussions with editors and recordings of interviews will take place in the media lounge. Up front in the reception area or in the welcome area, visitors and guests have the opportunity to experience first-hand our Augsburger Allgemeine, RT1 and ATV media brands. In the lounge area you can read our newspaper and listen to the radio. Augsburger Allgemeine’s digital offerings can be explored, a look at our corporate groups can be found or information about events can be found via touch screens. A comprehensive package has been created that also provides a space for shared communication, relaxation and new ideas.
“The fact that we were able to open our new world after nearly four months of construction is a major milestone. After long preparation and hard work for all involved, the result speaks for itself. We are proud of our ability to offer modern commercial buildings to our clients,” confirms Bohmek.
Augsburger Allgemeine made a conscious decision to completely renovate the former customer center. Proximity to customers and readers as well as promoting established trade was a critical factor in the decision making. Even today, direct exchange is more important than ever. “We attach great importance to being personally available for questions. With our commercial headquarters in the heart of Augsburg, we want to make the media tangible and at the same time express our love for our city,” adds Bohmeke.
The balance between personalized service and modern online display has been consistently successful: tickets, reader displays, Augsburger Allgemeine companies and store products can be displayed on touch screens, tablets, smartphones and displays. A selection of available products is displayed directly in the service area so you can convince yourself of their live quality. In the reception or welcome area, you as a visitor and guest will have the opportunity to experience first-hand our media brands Augsburger Allgemeine, RT1 and a.tv. Here you can relax in the lounge area and read our newspaper while listening to the radio, but you can also use the touch screens to explore Augsburger Allgemeine’s digital offerings, look at our corporate collections, or learn about events.
Trust and closeness to customers: The LMF postal service can also be used on site. Advertisements such as congratulations or obituaries can be placed with the reader service.
Live and interactive: you can learn about Augsburger Allgemeine digital reading products on tablets. Shop products with special, regional gift ideas that can be viewed on the site and then ordered using QR codes. The previous ticket offer will still apply.
Live Events and Lectures: After the shop is closed, events such as lectures, readings and panel discussions take place in the newly established event area.
