Austrian broadcaster Gerlind Lang passed away after a long struggle with a serious illness. She was only 43 years old. RadioFM4 announced the sad news on Instagram.

RadioFM4 announced the sad news on Instagram: “Our dear colleague and friend Gerlinde Lang passed away yesterday after a long and serious illness. She was FM4 anchor and editor for many years. We will miss you very much, Gerlinde.”
Gerlind Lang is dead: ‘It makes me so sad’
“Gerlind Lang came to FM4 when she was in her early twenties because it was her dream to become a radio presenter. It was clear then that she not only dreamed, but also had a lot of talent,” said ORF Radio Director. and FM4 chief Monica Igensberger. She had a fresh new voice that sounded refreshing to the end.
“I am so sad that we can no longer hear that voice. Our thoughts are with her family.”
Gerlinde Lang started FM4 at the age of twenty. She managed the “Connected” and “Homebase” programs as well as the “FM4 charts”.
