Martin Obrakan-Rukov is now responsible for strategy at Hotwire

Martin Opercan-Rückauf has taken over as Senior Director of Strategic Growth at Hotwire with immediate effect. He is responsible for, among other things, branding, communication strategy, marketing, new business processes, product development and expansion as well as the internationalization of the customer base.

Opercan-Rückauf comes from the strategic consulting firm Diffferent, where he was the director of the Munich office. Other stops in his career include agencies David + Martin and Haebmau. In his previous roles, the 42-year-old has looked after clients such as AOK, BMW Group, Deutsche Bahn, Freeletics, Intel, McDonalds, Nespresso, SevenOne Entertainment Group, Sony, Rockstar Games, Telefonica and UnternehmerTUM. In addition, the Marketing Graduate and MSc Scrum has gained international experience, among others in New Zealand Wines, Varta Consumer Batteries and Weber Stephen.

“With Martin, we are expanding our strong core business between B2B and Tech-PR by successively developing our communications and marketing services as well as our client group with a focus on technology,” says Ute Hildebrandt, General Manager Germany, Personnel.

Hotwire is a technology communications consultancy operating in Germany from its locations in Frankfurt am Main and Munich. Hotwire has twelve locations around the world. Client portfolio includes LinkedIn and Swisscom Trust Services.
