Joshua Kimmich hasn’t played a game since the beginning of November due to the coronavirus quarantine, COVID-19 and its long-term consequences. Now he is a role model with a meaningful Instagram post.
Joshua Kimmich is about to return to training at Bayern Munich. After the international underwent a medical on Wednesday, he posted a picture of himself in the mountains on his personal Instagram account a day later and wrote, among other things, the hashtag “#dasaufderfaulenhauthabenhateinende” – written: This is on the slow skin end.
With this, Kimmich makes it clear that he’s back. He will likely be there at the start of Bayern training on January 2nd. Hasan Salihamidzic also predicted this in a media interview last week.
The club announced two weeks ago that Kimmich would be absent due to lung problems while suffering from Covid-19 disease. Meanwhile, the 26-year-old also regretted not receiving the vaccination and stated that he would like to do so.
In addition to Kimmich, Leon Goretzka could also return after hip issues. In the case of Kingsley Coman and Josip Stanisic, the situation was even more murky.
