Rewe brings money to the new company through DER Touristik, the 16 Deutsche Seereederei hotels. In addition to Louis C. Jacob, it also includes the “Neptun Hotel” in Warnemünde as well as the tourist brands A-Rosa and aja with their wellness hotels. The hotel has 1,555 employees. The company’s new administrative headquarters is in the HafenCity in Hamburg.

DER is now a partner in operating the hotel

The deal is interesting for the supermarket group because the demand for travel destinations in Germany and within Europe that can be reached by train, bus or car has risen sharply. Jacob and other hotels, is pleased to have found an “experienced and financially strong partner” with whom one can become a leading company in Europe’s eco-friendly hospitality and leisure sector. quickly.
