Flames in the fun park: A fire broke out at Disneyland in California.

Several US media outlets reported that during the live show “Fantasmic!” , A 14-meter-high dragon statue suddenly caught fire on Saturday evening (local time). Videos circulating online showed a flaming dragon and loudspeaker announcements ending the show “due to unforeseen circumstances.”

Lucky in bad luck: There were no injuries, ABC7 reported, citing the fire brigade. There was initially no information about the damage caused. Disney itself initially did not comment. A witness said that after the fire started, staff evacuated the area but the rest of the park remained open.

The on-site attractions in Anaheim, just outside of Los Angeles, are a tourist hotspot. Disney’s self-described “Fantasmic!” It is a night show with special effects and “spectacular fireworks”.

The show is a journey through the imagination of Mickey Mouse. The popular Disney character fights against various villains, including the fire-breathing dragon, Maleficent. (rob)
