Nestlé recalls Smarties advent calendar incorrectly containing a “gluten-free logo”.
Frankfurt – If you have a gluten intolerance, you should get your hands off this advent calendar!
The Smarties advent calendar is being called out by manufacturer Nestlé because it has a “gluten-free logo” on it, the company announced. Accordingly, one of the characters may contain gluten.
Anyone with celiac disease, that is, intolerance to gluten, can develop diarrhea. People who have already eaten candy should consult a doctor.
However, for those who are gluten intolerant, the advent calendar presents no danger.
Especially dangerous for pregnant women: roast beef is recalled because of germs!
According to the Nestlé announcement, the problematic figure is behind the twenty-fourth door.
According to the company, wheat flour and malt extract are correctly identified in the ingredients list and are highlighted in bold.
Christmas calendar can be returned where it was purchased.
