Some of Intel’s current Alder Lake processors are currently causing problems for Chromium browser users. As confirmed by Intel itselfSome 12th generation CPUs cause delays in browsers such as Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge. Recording clicks or reloading a web page while scrolling can take several seconds.

Processors based on the integrated Intel UHD Graphics 770 graphics unit are affected. The problem occurs with i5-12500, i5-12600, i7-12700, and i9-12900 series processor models. A detailed list of all affected CPUs can be found at the end of the article.

To solve the problem, Intel is currently naming four different solutions that can solve the error. here they are:

  1. Update your browser to the current version: For Edge and Chrome, go to “Help -> About Google Chrome” or “Help and Feedback -> About Microsoft Edge” in your browser settings.
