- Tweets from Crytek seem to refer to a modified version of Crysis 2
Crytek appears to be working on a Crysis 2 remaster.
The reason for this assumption or speculation is a few short tweets from Crysis’ official Twitter account.
Someone says, “They were calling me a prophet,” which is a reference to Major Lawrence’s character, “the prophet,” Barnesa from Crysis 2. One answer to that consists of no more than an eye emoji.
A picture followed after the day, with an eye emoji. A first shot from Remaster for Crysis 2?

After the release of the remastered version of the first part last year, it wouldn’t be surprising if the second part was reworked this year. And there will be a good reason for that, because Crysis 2 is ten years old this year.
Which does not make everyone very happy, as evidenced by the responses to the teaser tweets. Some may prefer a fourth part of the series rather than the remodelers, although of course it cannot be excluded that one of them is already in preparation.

Others think the Crysis 2 doesn’t need a remaster at all because it still looks good, at least on the 4K PC.
Crysis Remastered was released last year for Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. This was followed by an upgrade for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, which colleagues at Digital Foundry weren’t quite convinced of.
How well Crysis 2 remaster will perform technically.
what about you. Did you play the first remastered and were you happy with it? Or are you, like some others, taking Part 4 instead?
