Alzheimer’s scam: Puts your nurse’s ass in jail News

Her butt put an American nurse in prison!

The reason: Tiffany Acuna, 31, brought in an Alzheimer’s patient for $7,000 (about €6,200). The woman from Florida used the money to inject her own buttocks with autologous fat, among other things. The procedure is known as a Brazilian butt lift and is considered one of the most dangerous cosmetic procedures out there.

Wicked: The 31-year-old, who tended to her patients at home, apparently wanted to take advantage of the victim’s forgetfulness to cheat the coals. Acuna applied for a credit card with the elderly woman’s personal data. She used plastic money to pay for buttock surgery, a skin lift, and liposuction at a clinic in Miami.

Meanwhile, the 31-year-old had to go to jail for getting her butt sprayed with stolen money.

The scam was exposed because the victim’s husband received the credit card bill and was blown away. He contacted the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office, which launched an investigation. It didn’t take long for the cops to get to the nurse.

After visiting Tiffany Acuna, she called the family and requested a payment plan to avoid legal trouble. When the 31-year-old approached her victim a second time with a possible illegal contract and $1,500 in cash, police arrested the nurse outside the victim’s home in Deltona.

During her questioning after her arrest, Acuna alleged that the elderly woman gave her consent to apply for the credit card. She faces charges of theft and fraudulent use of identity without the consent of the victim when she is over the age of 60.

After a short stint in jail, the former America In-Home Care employee was released on $10,000 bail. Tiffany Acuna has since been fired from her job.
