Sylvester Stallone has always been an international superstar. Today, however, he only uses the hook instead of his left hand.
Stallone, who turns 75 on Tuesday, doesn’t want to quit acting. “Retirement is not for me,” the Hollywood champion told BILD am SONNTAG. “But I take it easy now.” With a fortune of $400 million, it’s definitely not a problem either.
His fists made him rich: “Rocky,” the boxer from 1976, was a surprising success, and seven more sequels followed. The Rambo movie series (five parts) was also a cinematic success.
What would a movie hero like Sylvester Stallone wish for a birthday? He answers: “Health is the most important thing.” “Fun and contentment too.” Professionally, he no longer has any open goals. “I’ve had a good career, and I won’t take that for granted. I’m very grateful for that.”
