USA: Secret documents with Vice President Mike Pence also found | Policy

In the US, the case spills over into secret documents from years past the government!

According to media reports, classified documents were discovered in the home of former Republican Vice President Mike Pence. Broadcasting station CNN reported on Tuesday that the politician’s lawyer found about a dozen documents at his home in Indiana last week. Since then, the federal police have picked up the documents.

The 63-year-old was Vice President Donald Trump for four years. He appeared as a loyal comrade. The fact that Trump pitted his supporters against Pence on the day of the January 6, 2021 attack on the Washington Capitol has permanently damaged the relationship between the two.

With the 2024 presidential election approaching, the former congressman is considered a likely challenger to Trump among Republicans. However, he has not yet announced his candidacy.

In the past few weeks, classified documents from President Joe Biden’s tenure as Vice President Barack Obama have surfaced several times in private rooms. This issue puts Democrats under pressure.

Trump also caused a scandal with a similar case in the summer. The FBI raided his Florida home in August and seized thousands of documents, including classified ones. Both cases are now being investigated by private investigators.

According to reports, Pence searched for documents at his home in Carmel while finding the document at Biden’s. When a reporter asked him last year if he had taken classified documents from the White House, Pence said, “No, I haven’t.”
