Manufacturer Wernsing Feinkost from Essen (Oldenburg) in Lower Saxony announced the discovery of a decomposition product for the pesticide ethylene oxide.

According to the official portal Lebensmittelwarnung.de, the company sold grain in almost all federal states: in Baden-Württemberg, Bavaria, Berlin, Hesse, Mecklenburg-West Pomerania, Lower Saxony, North Rhine-Westphalia, Rhineland-Palatinate, Saarland, Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt, Schleswig Holstein and Thuringia.
