Soligenix seeks project manager for Vaccines and BioDefense unit
If hired, the candidate will be responsible for providing the full scope of project leadership for the unit. They will support Soligenix's chief scientific officer in the development and completion of projects according to rigorous regulatory and scientific standards within timelines and budgets.
The position is also responsible for overseeing the activities of both internal staff and external contractors who support Soligenix's initiatives.
The project manager will also coordinate the efforts of all key functional departments performing project and grant-related activities according to established milestones, as well as author grants when required.
Qualifications for the position include a Ph.D. in a scientific discipline, ideally in the field of vaccines, and a minimum of 5-8 years of vaccine development experience. Experience in federal grant funding activities is required, and demonstrated experience in implementing systems is a plus.
Other desired skills and abilities for the position include experience in managing a high level of productivity with minimal infrastructure and experience in budget planning, management and reconciliation.
Proficient knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Project is also required.
The project manager position is located in Princeton, N.J.
Compensation for the position will be commensurate with experience.
