EOP seeks continuity of operations and emergency preparedness operations manager

The Executive Office of the President (EOP) is looking to hire a continuity of operations and emergency preparedness operations manager.

If hired, the candidate will manage the fulfillment EOP duties, including contingency planning and emergency preparedness. They will plan EOP-wide domestic continuity management to develop overall objectives and long-term plans, as well as operating methods to achieve those goals.

The manager will also track all financial resources devoted to continuity/response for the EOP in order to ensure programs are efficient and cost effective.

The continuity of operations and emergency preparedness operations manager also provides continuity management support for the EOP and acts as an on-the-ground liaison between headquarters and organizations during national disasters, as well as ensuring that essential functions, operations and resources continue with minimal disruption during emergencies.

The incumbent of the position also manages the development and execution of EOP-wide hazards disaster readiness and continuity response plans, policies and programs in conjunction with the Department of Homeland Security, the Federal Emergency Management Agency, the White House National Security Staff and the White House Military Office.

The continuity of operations and emergency preparedness operations manager also performs other duties as assigned.

The position is based out of the EOP in Washington, D.C.
