Flint Hills Resources seeks emergency response coordinator
The individual chosen for the full-time position will serve as a program leader for the emergency response and fire protection function for Flint Hills' Corpus Christi facility. The emergency response coordinator will provide oversight and general assistance to operations and develop and execute strategic and tactical improvements in existing emergency response and fire protections systems. The person hired will be on-call for environmental incidents, conduct safety audits of emergency response systems and possess sound knowledge of company and process safety management regulations, policies and procedures.
Candidates must have a minimum of five years experience in safety, health and/or emergency response fields, as well as either an associate's degree and two years of safety experience in the petrochemical industry or a high school diploma and at least five years of petrochemical industry experience. Applicants will be judged on their verbal and written communication skills, knowledge of petrochemical process operations, thinking and problem solving skills and their ability to function within a team setting.
