Emergency management professionals in the public and private sectors are invited to apply for the National Emergency Management Leaders Academy, offered by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).

The program consists of four day-long courses and a guided leadership action project. It is the first part of the Emergency Management Professional Program that focuses on leadership.

To apply for the National Emergency Management Leaders Academy, interested emergency management professionals with a minimum of three years' experience must submit a letter of interest that details their qualifications, a general application form, the questionnaire for the leaders’ academy and a signed statement that demonstrates their commitment to the program.
