Colorado depot resumes chemical-weapons destruction

After a three-year hiatus, the U.S. resumed the destruction of remaining stockpiles of chemical weapons last week at the Pueblo Chemical Agent-Destruction Pilot Plant in Colorado. Crews from the Edgewood Chemical Biological Center began by puncturing canisters filled with mustard gas within an Explosive Destruction System (EDS).
