One of our suppliers has informed us that one of the ingredients supplied to us contains Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs), which is why the various packaging formats for M&M’S Crispy products (M&M’S packets in dark blue) are recalled with two of the best affected before appointments.
The interests of our clients lie at the heart of everything we do. That’s why we generally don’t use any GMOs in our products in Europe. Since GMOs are not permitted for this ingredient under EU law, we are recalling products.
We have conducted extensive tracking to locate the affected products. We can confirm that we have halted all production with the affected component and withheld all products made from the affected batch.
We will work with the component supplier to ensure that more thorough checks are carried out in the future to ensure that the problem does not recur.
