Frankfurt, Berlin, New York Only in July did US President Joe Biden and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman swear their archenemy and usher in a new era of cooperation. Now there is enormous anger in the United States about Saudi Arabia. Because the OPEC countries want to produce less oil, the United States threatens with dire consequences. Biden wants to fundamentally “rethink” relations with the leading country in the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and threatens the consequences. Now Congress must debate how the United States will respond.

Thus, relations between the United States and Saudi Arabia reached a new low. The reason is OPEC+’s decision to produce two million barrels (159 liters each) less oil per day as of November. Saudi Arabia and Russia are the main powers in the oil alliance.
