These foods are full of protein
If you want to have a protein-rich meal, you can use lentils, for example. Legumes have a protein content of 23.5g per 100g and also provide plenty of iron, zinc and fibre. If you also include cereals and vegetables in the meal, the body can better absorb protein.
Cream cheese granules
One product that not many people see is cottage cheese. This type of creamy cheese with a granular texture provides around 12g of protein per 100g serving and is low in calories and fat. Whether as a snack for dipping with cucumbers and tomatoes, or as a dressing at dinner, granular cream cheese is the perfect source of protein.

Don’t be late right away and give tofu a chance first. The popular meat substitute provides around 15g of protein per 100g serving and can be processed in a variety of ways. You can buy tofu unprocessed or already seasoned and smoked. The German Dietetic Association (DGE) even explicitly recommends tofu as a protein source.
When it comes to protein-rich foods, low-fat quarks shouldn’t be missing from any list. 100 grams contain only 65 calories, but a full 13 grams of protein. Wonder what you can do with a quark? Admittedly, this product does not taste very intense on its own. However, it can get really tasty with a flavoring powder like Chunky Flavor. Or try one of our low-fat quark recipes for weight loss >>
