Star expert predicts the end of the dictator: “Putin will not survive” | Policy

He is one of the most famous political experts in the world – Francis Fukuyama (70, Stanford University) is now talking about the end of Putin.

The political world believes that the upcoming battle for Crimea will be decisive. Russia has occupied the peninsula since 2014, and its conquest in Russia is considered the most important foreign policy success of Vladimir Putin (70).

Now Fukuyama says: if Ukraine manages to regain Crimea, this will have serious consequences for Putin personally. Specifically: if the Kremlin dictator loses Crimea, he will not survive!

“If they have to give up Crimea, it’s hard to imagine Putin surviving given how much they have invested in reclaiming Crimea,” Fukuyama said. Because of the Crimea, the Russians are “in a very difficult position.”

Speaking to RadioFreeEurope, Fukuyama said Crimea is very vulnerable. Because: “If the Ukrainians managed to liberate the Kherson region, they would have cut off the Crimea.”

“There is a railway from Russia to Crimea, and there is a bridge across the strait,” Fukuyama said. Ukrainians will be able to “cut the traffic arteries.”

“Ukrainians can separate Crimea”

“The Ukrainians don’t even have to take Crimea. You can separate them,” says the political expert. “You don’t have to invade Crimea, you can simply take all Russian forces hostage there.” This is a very big advantage that Ukraine can use to its advantage.

The truth is: Stunning explosions and major fires have been happening in Crimea for weeks. Suspicion: Ukraine may be about to launch a liberation offensive in Crimea.

Crimea is extremely important to Russia’s invasion strategy: Sevastopol is the main port of the Black Sea Fleet, as well as numerous Air Force bases and other military installations.

The Russians feared the Crimean attack

Much of the supplies of Russia’s armed forces in Ukraine are also routed through Crimea, especially via the Crimean Bridge, which was built in 2018 and connects Russia to the annexed peninsula.

On October 8, a massive explosion destroyed part of the bridge, Russian dictator Vladimir Putin spoke of “terrorism” and accused the Ukrainian secret services. Just a month later, the Ukrainian army managed to liberate large parts of occupied southern Ukraine, including the regional capital of Chersonesos.

However, the liberation of Crimea would be not only very important for Ukraine militarily, but also a great political success.
