Eindhoven (AB) – Former German national footballers Mario Gotze and Jerome Bodeng have made a successful start to the Europa League with their clubs.
The 29-year-old Kotse took the lead at the Dutch club in a 2-2 (1: 2) match between PSV Eindhoven and Real Sociedad San Sebastian (31st minute). Former world champion Cody Gagpo’s goal was set (54th). The former Bodeng from Munich was 2-0 (1-0) for the first time since joining the starting line-up at the Olympic Lyon from France at the Glasgow Rangers. Coach Peter Bose, 33, was replaced 65 minutes later.
He had a good start to the new European Cup season with AS Monaco coach Nico Kovac. Club won 1-0 (0-0) against Sturm Cross from French League 1. Goalkeeper Alexander Noble, borrowed from FC Bayern, was in the starting line-up, while international striker Kevin Voland was replaced without a goal after 61 minutes.
