PS Plus members get access to “free” games in July 2021 today, and they’ll be activated in the morning – after the next PlayStation Store update. Exact time not available. However, the past has shown that PS Plus games are usually released on PSN by lunchtime. First person shooter Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 and WWE 2K Battlegrounds wrestling game awaits PS4 players in July. Thanks to PS5 backward compatibility, PS4 games can also be comfortably played on your existing Sony console – among other things, with faster load times.
Sony will distribute a technically updated version of A Plague Tale: Innocence for PS5 in July 2021. Games will be available throughout July: Link games to your PSN account to get permanent access under an active PS Plus membership. The cost of an annual subscription to the online service is about 60 euros.
Until the July games are activated, you can still secure the titles Sony distributed last month: Star Wars: Squadrons (PS4), Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown (PS4) and Operation Tango (PS5). The announcement of August games for PS Plus should follow on July 28, if Sony doesn’t change anything in the known process. Downloads will then be possible from August 3rd. In the video below you can find out what to expect from the July Games.
