Announcing the first Hyatt Centric hotel in Germany | newsletter

On Tuesday, Hyatt announced a franchise agreement with SV Hotel AG for the Hyatt Centric Altstadt Hamburg. With the opening of the hotel, planned for 2025, Hyatt is expanding its presence in the lifestyle sector in Europe. As in the Hyatt Centric Altstadt Hamburg brand, Hyatt Centric Altstadt Hamburg aims to connect its guests with the local culture.

Regional elements make up the design

The new hotel is being built as part of a development project by real estate investment manager Redevco, which replaces the existing C&A building with a climate-neutral mixed-use building. Modern architecture merges with the historic brick houses of Hamburg and fits perfectly in the Levantehaus district. Guests can stay in 185 suites and rooms. The design of the rooms has been shaped by regional products and elements that reflect the history and taste of the Hanseatic city.

For the first time in German-speaking countries

With the house in the middle of the Hanseatic city, Hyatt Centric celebrates its debut in German-speaking countries. To date, the brand is present in four European countries with Hyatt Centric Levent Istanbul, Hyatt Centric Gran Via Madrid, Hyatt Centric Milan Central, Hyatt Centric Murano Venice and Hyatt Centric The Liberties Dublin.
