FEMA announces open program analyst, management specialist positions.
The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) announced on Wednesday open positions for a supervisory program analyst and an emergency management specialist.

The supervisory program analyst will be based in Washington, D.C. This position is tasked with directing organizations that are responsible for acquisition programs, providing technical advice relating to the planning, coordination and other aspects of programs to meet user requirements. This position will also be responsible for the assurance of subordinate’s implementing office-wide programs.

This position requires at least one year of working experience at the GS-13 level of government work with experience in project planning and organization, leading qualitative and quantitative analysis of budget and performance information and policy and directive development.

This position’s application window closes on Wednesday, Nov. 18, or when 200 applications are received.

The emergency management specialist position is based in Lakewood, Colorado. This position will be tasked with the preparation and development of emergency management plans on a regional basis, determining resource requirements and availability for recovery missions and serving as the senior regional functional specialist.

This position requires at least one year of working experience at the GS-11 level of government work that includes experience with performing analysis on program efficacy, providing guidance to internal and external customers on emergency management initiatives and resource determinations for recovery programs.

The emergency management application window will close on Monday, Nov. 16, or when 200 applications have been submitted.
