ViewSonic VX: UHD displays up to 150Hz, HDMI 2.1 and USB-C

ViewSonic’s VX series features two UHD displays, 144Hz and 150Hz by overclocking. The VX3220-4K-PRO with about 32 inches and the VX2880-4K-PRO with 28 inches use an IPS panel, HDMI 2.1, and USB-C.

Both models offer two HDMI 2.1 inputs, a DisplayPort 1.4 port, a USB Type-C connection of up to 65W and an audio output. The VX3220-4K-PRO also has two USB 3.0 ports and the VX2880-4K-PRO has four. Built-in stereo speakers and a versatile adjustable stand including height and pivot adjustment are other similarities.

The VX3220-4K-PRO is not only larger with a 31.5-inch diagonal screen, but also offers 10-bit color depth and 350 cd/m² brightness, simulated thanks to an 8-bit panel with FRC, while the VX2880-4K-Pro features 8-bit color depth and 300 nits/c Square meters. Both are advertised with “HDR 400”, which is VESA’s smallest HDR compatibility level.

Prices, specifications and availability

It is not yet known when and at what prices the new VX models will be available. In the XG series for gamers, ViewSonic recently announced the launch of new 32-inch models.
